27 April 2020:

All Mt Buller Bike Park trails are now closed as the resort readies for winter.  For those counting the days, the trails will re-open in early November 2020 (that's only about 190 sleeps...)

Please respect the trail closures until then while the Environmental Services team maintains and protects the trails.

A big thank you to everyone who visited this season and experienced the thrills, the berms, the turns, the sweat, the views and the simple pleasures of time on a bike.

We also appreciate your patience and understanding for the times we had to close the trails, and the postponement of some events due to bushfires and then coronavirus restrictions.

It was a challenging season and as Ben Annear put it so succinctly in his final trail report, it's a season to be remembered 'for all the wrong reasons'.

However, there were plenty of moments we'll savour including the superb Bike Buller Festival and the breathtaking GT Highline slopestyle event back in early March.  How good was it when we could all enjoy time gathered with mates, sitting in the sunshine and watching people do mad stuff upside down on bikes?

A big shout out to the riders, to the local operators, to the trail crew and the good people at All Terrain Cycles/Gravity Oz, Rapid Ascent, Blue Dirt, the Vic Enduro Tour, Mind Body Bike festival and of course the amazing folks who came out for the Herald Sun Jayco Tour.

You are what makes this place hum and although this was a tough season it is hopefully one that will only further fuel the pinner passion, inspire us all to get up on the mountain and roll the trails again at the end of this crazy year.

Stay safe, stay well, wash your hands, tune your steed and let's do it all again in November.

Keep connected over the winter on our Facebook for updates on all things Bike Buller

We'll see you up here again soon.
