7 Peaks Ride

Victoria’s 7 Peaks Alpine Ascent Challenge is an at-your-own pace cycling challenge which takes you up winding mountain roads, around steep turns and past spectacular views right to the top of Victoria’s Alpine Resorts. Your challenge for five months over the warmer months is to take on the toughest road climbs in Australia – which rival some of the famous Tour de France peaks. Climbs to conquer:

  • Mt Buller Alpine Resort
  • Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort
  • Mount Buffalo National Park
  • Dinner Plain Alpine Village
  • Falls Creek Alpine Resort
  • Hotham Alpine Resort
  • Lake Mountain Alpine Resort

The 7 Peaks Passport will be the proof of your cycling toughness, stamping it along the way for every summit you successfully ride. Once you have completed your peaks and submitted your stamped passport, you will go into the draw to win some amazing prizes. Ride four peaks or more and you get the chance to win this year’s major prize. There’s also 7 amazing alpine winter experiences to be won.

You can tackle the 7 Peaks (Mt Baw Baw, Mt Buffalo, Mt Buller, Dinner Plain, Falls Creek, Hotham, Lake Mountain) anytime from mid-October 2016 to end of March 2017.

So give your cycling a serious hit of altitude this summer. Throw down the challenge to yourself, your mates or your cycling club. Victoria’s 7 Peaks are there for the taking. Visit the 7 Peaks website for further information and to register for your passport:
