Mt Buller will host the third annual Australian Mountain Bike Summit on 5-6 December 2016, a critical forum dedicated purely to the needs of the mountain bike industry.

The Summit will offer a two-day program featuring national and international guests covering a range of topics. There will also be some great networking opportunities and scheduled rides, so you can enjoy the world-class Mt Buller Bike Park and its varied terrain and facilities.

With hosting by renowned cycling commentator, SBS journalist and host of The Bike Lane, Matt Keenan this year’s speakers include:
  • Charlie Sturgis, CEO of Park City Mountain Trails Foundation (USA)
  • Glen Jacobs, Director of World Trail
  • Andrew Liddawi, founder of Break the Boundary
  • Mountain Bike Australia
  • Tim Watson, GM of Dorset Council (Blue Derby)

Bringing together delegates and speakers to explore the latest trends, issues and opportunities in the industry, a huge program is planned with a range of keynote addresses and workshops to appeal to all facets of the mountain bike industry. Topics that will be covered include:

  • The latest Australian mountain bike market profile research findings;
  • eMTBs: love them or hate them - they’re here to stay;
  • Social media: spreading the word at the lowest cost;
  • Clubs - best practice and lessons from successful, sustainable bike clubs;
