10.30am    Free guided Epic ride
6pm onwards Summit Welcome: Casual dinner and drinks – meet your industry colleagues ahead of the Summit. Registration also available on the night.

Monday 5 December 2016

8am-8:45am

Registration - Reception, Alpine Central

Grab a coffee and get your rego sorted before settling in for a day of MTB talk.

9am

Summit Commences - Auditorium, Alpine Central

Welcome - John Huber, CEO, Mt Buller Mt Stirling Resort Management

Keynote Address: Mountain Bike Australia

Keynote Address: Glen Jacobs, Director - World Trail

10:45am Morning tea

Workshop Session 1: delegates split into smaller groups for smaller presentation sessions. Choose one of the following four workshop options: 

  1. Master planning: strategy to execution - creating mountain bike Mecca in Western Australia
  2. Parks Victoria & mountain biking
  3. Lessons from successful bike clubs.
  4. Social media - getting the most from it to spread the word at the lowest cost.
12.15pm

Workshop Session 2: delegates then select an alternate workshop to participate in. Choose one of the following four workshop options:

Choose to ride our gravity trails (complete with shuttles) or head out on a guided XC ride.

Ride bikes!

Join us for a group ride down one of our favourite trails – the Delatite River Trail. Top off this super fun ride with a casual BBQ and beers in Mirimbah Park (at the base of Mt Buller). Transport available to get you back to the Village afterwards.

6:30pm

Casual close-out dinner – if you’re staying another night, join us for a bite to eat and a chance to have those last chats with speakers and delegates (meal/drinks at delegates’ expense).
